Mobile Office (SürətDataCELL)

The SürətDataCELL service gives you the opportunity to experience what a “Mobile Office” truly is. You’ll be able to manage your business while you’re on the move, from any part of Azerbaijan. With SürətDataCELL (High Speed Data Service) you’ll be able to:

• send and receive data from your PC or laptop via a mobile phone;
• get Internet/Intranet access;
• send and receive e-mail;
• transfer files.

Normally, the data transmission speed is 9.6 kb per second. With High Speed Data, the speed is up to four times as fast. Ericsson’s WISE™ High Speed Internet solution provides:

• HSCSD (High Speed Circuit Switched Data) technology that transfers your data through multiple timeslots simultaneously, depending on the network capacity load condition, thereby increasing the speed by up to three times as much;
• HDLC (High-level Data Link Control) technology, which increases the effective data rate by 25%;
• IAS (Internet Access Services) technology, which allows you to connect directly to the Internet without going via public PSTN, meaning that call set-up times are reduced from up to 40 seconds to under 10 seconds; and
• WebOnAir™ Filter Proxy, which substantially reduces the amount of data transmitted by compressing and optimizing Web pages.

To use the High Speed Data Service, you will need the following:

• laptop;
• PCMCIA GSM Data Card — Nokia Card Phone; or HSCSD-capable mobile telephone.

A connection may also be established via infrared ports on the mobile phone and laptop.
